The Job Rights Requirement charts above are intended for our contractors to easily recognize the basic requirements, critical deadlines, and statutory references needed for enforcement of their Mechanic’s Lien, Stop Notice, and Payment Bond rights.
These rights provide security for what would otherwise be an unsecured construction claim and are the only creditor’s rights/collections remedies provided for in the California Constitution.
